Lion Against the Storm

Acrylic on board. 2500 x 1500. Painted for the King of Eswatini, but I was never able to present it to him as his advisors said it was a bad omen to paint the representation of the king on the holy mountain SIBEBE where the ancestorial kings are buried.

Life of Tree

Made from old pallet wood. The concept came about when I saw the discarded planks of broken pallets and how humanity so easily destroys and throws things away when they are deemed useless or out of date. I wanted to give life to this forgotten treasure, a mere tree, even for just one moment.

Luciferous Indignation

A self-portrait that painted in reference to the headteacher I worked for in Eswatini whilst coahcing swimming, who, no matter what was always on the attack and seemed that no matter what I did, it was never good enough and that she would have only been satisfied if I were dead and in hell. Hence the symbolism of the grim reaper in the background and the fiery wings spreading out from me,
